Meet Candice. As pretty as a porcelain doll and the possessor of a fun-loving, yet quiet personality. Staying faithful to the true collegian spirit, she's already changed her major three times... in her freshman year alone! Currently she's declared a Liberal Studies major... and she's determined to stay there. What Candice really wants to do is work with kids - and I know she's going to be awesome at it. Why? Because she's calm and cool and has one of the most beautiful smiles ever. Kids like that... right? Well, I do, at least.

Meet Kyle. Kyle Chinn. You have to love that last name. There is nothing un-cool about Kyle. You want proof? He plays the pipe organ. Yes, the pipe organ. Phantom of the Opera style. Do you know ANYONE else under the age of 65 who plays that instrument? I didn't think so. And he's minoring in it at school. Majoring in MATH. I think that's cool because it's something I could absolutely never. ever. do. On top of it all, he loves my puppy Harley and he has the most adorable freckles. See? Completely, 100% cool.

Meet Nick. Creative genius, master of hilarity, and kind as a teddy bear. He's studying film and photography and is already excelling in his freshman year. He's that guy that EVERYONE loves to be around. He's so generous with his time and talents. The list goes on and on about why I love Mr. Nick Chavez. Nick is going to do some amazing things in life - I can't wait to see what those things might be.

All three of these precious children go to BIOLA. Such an awesome school.
Candice, Kyle, and Nick: I'm so thrilled that you could all come over. I had such a lovely Saturday morning because of you - thanks for all of the laughs.
PS. Kyle: I'm so glad that you love peanut butter french toast as much as I do. Spread the word. It's a movement.
The ranunculus is delicate, romantic, and oh-so soft... how come I never knew about these before??

Seriously!! That is such a beautiful flower - they might become another one of my favs - the color is wonderful - nice job capturing that friend!
(02.24.09 @ 01:05 PM)If you leave her alone for more than a minute, she'll eat food off of the counter, your underwear from the hamper, or the newspaper off the couch. Basically you have to keep everything above shoulder level if you value it at all. Harley's favorite...favorite...favorite thing to do, though, is SHRED. She has the incredible ability to tear any paper-based product into tiny pieces within seconds.
Tonight before family dinner, Cary opened the garage door to find a very guilty pup.

I know, she should be punished. But she's just sooooo cute!
Katy Vold!!! First off I must say, you are an AMAZING photographer!!! And these pictures of Harley are adorably hilarious... and totally reminds of our puppy Macy! I can definitely relate... because if we leave the bathroom door open for one second with her around, she goes straight for the toilet paper roll!! (and then our bathroom looks like your garage in these pictures!!) Haha!
LOVE YA!!! xoxo
The pretty girl in the pictures is none other than my very own cousin! She's had her horse, Evan for as long as I can remember... he's 17 now! They're the perfect pair...

Kisses.
We took photos around Berkeley until we were dripping with rainwater.

Great shots, Katy. You have some serious talent. And you know I'll always be partial to Berkeley.

Breakfast Club is one of my favorite movies. I know I'm dating myself with that comment. The pics are great, and especially like the photo of the ranunculus. My wife LOVES dalias, and so I have come to love them, too. Knowing Nick a bit, I agree. That guy is complete comedy, and hope he goes far with his dreams. Peace.
